Diseases
The arteries feeding the heart get narrowed by fatty plaque. Blood flow drops, and the heart muscle may not get enough oxygen — especially during physical activity.
The force of blood against your artery walls stays too high over time. Often silent, but it strains the heart and damages blood vessels throughout the body.
Blood flow to part of the heart is suddenly blocked, usually by a clot. The affected muscle tissue can be damaged within minutes.
The heart can't pump as well as it should. Fluid builds up in the lungs and legs. Breathlessness and fatigue become part of daily life.
The heart beats irregularly and often too fast. Blood may pool in the atria, increasing the risk of clots and stroke.
One or more valves do not open or close properly. The heart works harder to move blood through a narrowed or leaky valve.

Yes. Your cardiologist performs the echocardiogram personally. ECG is recorded by our nurse on the same day. Cardiac blood tests can be taken any day.
